Aachen, 2. July 2024 — The Aachen Technology and Entrepreneurship Congress (ATEC) 2024 brought together entrepreneurs, companies, and investors, providing a strong platform for the development of innovative ideas and the creation of new collaborations. By connecting entrepreneurship and technology, the event offered early-stage ventures valuable opportunities to showcase themselves and accelerate their growth.
At the time operating under its former name ivilion, leitspalt participated in the neuland x ATEC Pitch Competition, presenting its technology to investors and industry stakeholders. As part of the competition, startups had the opportunity to demonstrate their business models and technological solutions, gaining both visibility and access to potential investment.
As a result, leitspalt won the Pitch Competition and received the Dieter von Holtzbrinck Media Prize valued at €30,000, highlighting both its technological approach and its strong market potential.
As part of the event, leitspalt's Co-Founder Dr. Jana Maria Weinand also took part in the FEMpreneurs Female Founders panel, contributing to discussions on the role of diversity in entrepreneurship. The panel provided an important platform to highlight how diverse perspectives contribute to innovation processes.
Supported by the RWTH Aachen ecosystem, ATEC continues to play a key role in enabling startups to scale and create real impact.
