Hong Kong, 26. April 2024 - The Elevator Pitch Competition (EPIC) 2024 brought together innovative startups from around the world across FinTech, PropTech, and MobilityTech. As one of Asia’s largest startup competitions, the event provides companies with the opportunity to expand into regional and global markets.
leitspalt (formerly ivilion) participated in the MobilityTech category with its next-generation battery technology developed for the future of mobility. One of the most distinctive aspects of the competition was its unique format, where startups presented their projects in just 60 seconds during an elevator ride to the top of Hong Kong’s Sky100 tower.
Following selection rounds held in Stuttgart, leitspalt advanced to the semi-finals, ranking among the top 20 MobilityTech startups worldwide. As part of this achievement, the team was invited to participate in a one-week China Immersion Program in Hong Kong, providing direct access to regional investors, companies, and the innovation ecosystem.
This experience represented not only a competition milestone for leitspalt, but also an important step in understanding the Asian market and building international collaborations. By connecting startups with investors and industry stakeholders, EPIC offers a strong platform for companies aiming to enter the Asian ecosystem.
